James E. Ballard is a CPA and Tax Partner with J.F. Kimmons & Associates, P.C., CPAs. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University (Bachelor of Business Administration) and Georgia College (Masters in Business Administration and MS in Business Administration).

Mr. Ballard served as an IRS agent for 25 years before joining the Kimmons firm as a member of its Tax Controversy Team.

He has extensive experience in all areas of taxation that include representing taxpayers before the IRS involving audits of individuals, partnerships, small businesses and large, and also complex corporate returns.
